Based in the heart of the Broadway theater district, Broadway Brands is a theater media conglomerate that made its debut in 2015 with the launch of Broadway Briefing, and recently launched Broadway News and Broadway Business, with more brands on the way. We’re building a community of entertainment entrepreneurs with a passion for taking show business seriously. We celebrate the history of the industry, and are even more excited for its future.

CURRENT INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES:
We are currently looking for enthusiastic part-time interns (20 scheduled hours a week) beginning on January 6th, through May 7th to help us with this mission. Internships will take place remotely for the foreseeable future.
BROADWAY BRANDS INTERNSHIP
— Remote Winter/Spring Internship: Broadway is facing incredible and unprecedented challenges, and our company has remained committed to helping support the industry through this time, with our morning Briefing, News website, and other tools.
Internships are available with various focuses including Operations, Broadway Briefing, and others, and we will work with potential qualified candidates to identify the best focus for them. Our internship program has proved to be an excellent learning experience for our past interns, and provides a good holistic overview of the landscape of the Broadway industry.
Our program offers students and emerging professionals:
• experience at a unique theater media startup
• exposure to the building of new theatrical start-up ventures
• exposure to news research, and editorial and operational coverage on a daily basis
• weekly stipend and a rewarding experience
Eligibility:
This internship program is open to undergraduate students, graduate students, and early-career professionals. Interns must meet the following criteria:
• Have earned or are currently earning a college/university degree in related field
• Available to work remotely for a minimum of 20 hours per week
• Excellent written communication skills
• An interest in the Broadway theater industry with prior work, internship or classroom experience
Compensation:
We offer college credit or a weekly stipend. Interns are not eligible for company medical benefits, holiday pay or sick pay

BROADWAY NEWS INTERNSHIP
— Remote Winter/Spring Internship: Broadway News (broadwaynews.com) is the new home for original theater journalism from Broadway Brands (broadwaybrands.com), publisher of Broadway Briefing (broadwaybriefing.com). Broadway News is seeking qualified journalism interns for the Fall, Winter/Spring and Summer seasons. The intern reports to the Editor in Chief, with tasks including fact-checking, proofreading and background research for articles.
Our program offers students and emerging professionals:
• experience at a unique theater journalism startup
• exposure to news research, and editorial and operational coverage on a daily basis
• possibility of contributing stories, based on experience and skill
• opportunities to attend industry events
• weekly stipend and a rewarding experience
Eligibility:
This internship program is open to undergraduate students, graduate students, and early-career professionals. Interns must meet the following criteria:
• Have earned or are currently earning a college/university degree in related field
• Available to work remotely for a minimum of 20 hours per week
